Riding at the front seat of a PUV on my way home was like going around town the first time, riding a multicab the first time that I almost gave the driver a slap, thinking we were going to bump at the tricycle before us. But then I realized, I was thinking obtuse since multicabs have short fronts. Toink.A couple of minutes later, we were moving along the national highway where tricycles are scarce and trucks with loads (not to mention - overloaded) are inevitable. Then we found ourselves running along with a large truck loaded with sugarcanes. If by chance nature was mean that day, blowing wind against wind, there would have been literally a shower of sweetness upon us. My thought wandered off. The driver lost control of the wheel and I tried to get hold of it. By doing so, I dropped the dozen of ponkans making them fall heedlessly to the floor causing the driver to stumble in stepping on the brakes. The vehicle swerved from side to side and finally slumps into a railing. Then descending freely by the force of gravity, we fell off a bridge.
All right. So I say yes to road-widening. I used to want to ignore it since the mere mention of the idea could easily irate my father, considering the location of our house. Up to now, I still wouldn't want to know my parent's reaction once the widening is implemented by the local authority. But one thing's for sure: it would make them a thousand richer but closer to (literally) biting the dusts. tawing.
